Between Threads is an ongoing multidisciplinary project that explores the fragile boundary between physical control, digital presence, and remote embodiment.
At its core, the system connects a physical puppet theatre to a real-time digital interface, merging IoT, computer vision, networking, augmented reality, and basic robotics into a single hybrid environment.
The system is built around two parallel interfaces:

The user can switch between different modes of control:
Direct control using both hands
Assisted control, where an agent layer (Perlin noise) subtly modifies motion
Remote control, where another user can take over the puppet from anywhere in the world via a VPN connection
